Hi! My name is Eline, she/her. Recently graduated from the MA Arts, Literature, Media at Leiden University. Currently working on PhD applications. My (research) interests reach far and wide, but some of them are: water, the digital, (mediatised) death, (de)colonialisation, ecocriticism, form. Mijn (onderzoeks)interessen zijn uiteenlopend. Om er een paar te noemen: water, het digitale, (gemediatiseerde) dood, (de)kolonisatie, ecokritiek, vorm. This website is hand-coded using only HTML & CSS. The software I use is called Notepad++. The site is hosted through Greenhost. I've submitted the site for the no-JS Club and the 1MB Club. Currently awaiting their review.
Across the internet, little snippets of past and present Eline's can be found. There is a semi-active LinkedIn account, for example. We can connect there, but I try to be there as little as strategically necessary. There is also a rather lovely Instagram account. It's a place I used to call my digital home, one I've reluctantly turned into a haunted house. There's more, undoubtedly.
This will be the new place you can find me online. It's an attempt at practising ecologically conscious Internet activity and regaining digital sovereignty.
